Description
In 2010, I moved to Langres in France, the city of Diderot. I was making a research about forestry. I had visited public and private forests while also working on some patents. This tree just came out of my mind after I participated an art concourse. During the concourse I had made some sketches that later inspired me the Tree of Diderot. I played with water color, Bic pens, salt, pencils and I recreated my emotions in colors.
I really love this drawing. I never though of selling it until covid-19. Selling it is a way to move forward as a professional artist and value the things I love to also learn how to detach with them.
When I was a student, I used to collect antics all the year around and sell them twice a year during a large antic market. This antic trade business has paid my school and it started by selling the things I love for a very antic professional high price. Each time I have sold something, I found motivations to buy more and the more selective I was, higher was the price and the more it was easy to sell.
Selling the Tree of Diderot is my way to get a foot in a professional art career. If it sells, it would tell somethings powerful enough to motivate me and if it does not sell, never mind, my motivations are strong anyway. At least, it would have started this website and my professional portfolio.
