I am the CEO of the SAB Center and constantly developing the non-profit. I participate in the making of documentaries, publications, brochures and I participate as a researcher and a writer. If you like my art and would like me to produce more art, you can help me by participating in the Reddit community, so I don’t have so much time to spend myself and can focus on something else.
Everybody is concerned about housing so everybody shall have something to say, some experience to share, some opinion about the law, about the news. You can help me with the non-profit by gathering on Reddit the local news about housing and participate in discussions. The more we develop the community, the more I can make my voice heard with the SAB Center’s research, raise grants and participate programs along with other non-profits or universities. Your help is tremendous.
During the few years I spent in the US, I met many people who at some point of their life may encounter housing issues. Pet sitters for example, go from a house to the other and are temporarily homeless in between jobs if they are single and especially if they are single elderlies. People with chronic illnesses may find time in a month when their wages are not enough because they are sick, have to follow with medical treatment and/or cannot find the strength to work full time. Just watch GoFundMe, YouTube, Nextdoor, all those community apps and you will find many of them.
Life without security is not life and nobody shall ever have to get used to live in fears. That’s why I made the SAB Center, because after many years as an architect, many years as a researcher and many years in the US, I could no more find solutions to feel good about my profession. Now I need your help to animate this community. Don’t let it stay silent.
